A little background...
Hiwa-i-te-Rangi is the youngest whetÅ« of the Matariki cluster and connects to dreams and hopes for the year ahead. During Matariki, MÄori would recite karakia and send their wishes for the year to the star, hoping they would be fulfilled. Hiwa-i-te-Rangi is said to be a guardian star, providing light and encouragement for us to move towards our goals. She gives us the determination to follow our dreams and navigate the journey of personal development.
